New achievement unlocked as an amateur mechanic - taking out an alternator at -20° F

Not fun getting stuck on the side of the road last night on christmas eve. Luckily we were able to push it somewhere with outlets and plug in the heater/charger cord for a couple hours then drive it back to the apartment. The only tow company that answered their phone quoted $600 for the 2-mile tow.

has announced a one-year pause in production at its flagship facility in Clermont, Ky.,
