#Google Maps is complete garbage. They could care less about updating building shapes in my town, some were knocked down and rebuilt over 10 years ago. #FuckGoogle #TooBigToCare

“HP says in the staff memo: “The wait time for each customer is set to 15 minutes - notice the expected wait time is mentioned only in the beginning of the call.”

“The reason for the change? Getting people to figure it out themselves using online support. As HP put it: “Encouraging more digital adoption by nudging customers to go online to self-solve,” and “taking decisive short-term action to generate warranty cost efficiencies.””

It’s not enough for Ticketmaster to jack up the price of my concert tickets. They go one better and partner with some half-assed company that lets their (my) data get hacked. This, in a recent email:

“Ticketmaster recently discovered that an unauthorized third party obtained information from a cloud database hosted by a third-party data services provider. On May 23, 2024, we determined that some of your personal information may have been affected by the incident.”

@kaffeeringe

I wonder @pluralistic’s #TooBigToCare applies to the entire Global North vs Global South, in this #enshittocene of the planet’s ecosystems.

@koherecoWatchdog
Quite simply, #Amazon is #TooBigToCare and thus #TooBigToExist.

We strongly believe that any govt institution that uses them is aiding and abetting a process of #corporateTotalitarianism (aka #fascism).

Its that serious… and yes, add it to the long list.
