Tom’s Studio Wren pen that uses fountain pen ink: Great little pen. Not as eco-friendly as it could be given the weird plastic/cotton capillary ink system which is hard to clean/change, unles you spend $ on the carts. Overall nice and probably great for artists.

I’m trying something different that I got at the pen show. A Tom’s Studio Wren that uses fountain pen ink but isn’t a fountain pen. I’m hoping it works as a travel/pocket pen. Yes, I have pocket fountain pens but they can burp in the heat of a pocket.

It's that time of year again, wherein I make a promise to myself to spend more time making comics and then failing spectacularly a couple of days later.
BTW, this is inked with my new Tom's Studio Studio Fountain pen with Pro-flex (i.e. a zebra G-Pen) nib. It's excellent, and a Comix Review will be incoming soon. I hope.

Just inked up my new fountain pen from Tom’s Studio 🌸 I invested in both the Lumos and the fountain pen with interchangeable nibs. I got an extra fine semi-flex nib and a medium nib. It writes very smoothly even though it is a fine nib. Haven’t tried the medium nib yet but I might have to invest in all the nibs 😄

Just inked my new Lumos from Tom’s Studio 🌸 I couldn’t resist the siren call of this pen even though it isn’t a fountain pen. It is a refillable pen with 11 different nibs and it uses fountain pen ink. It writes smoothly and refills with no fuss. Love it!
