Checked out the recently released demo for TinyAttack, it's pretty fun! An interesting take on (a game series which I don't even want to call by name because it got sold off to a terrible company and subsequently ruined), so I'm really looking forward to the full release.
It's a top-down action roguelike where you're constantly at a race against the clock - difficulty increases over time, so you need to loot the massive levels as efficiently as possible. Chests scattered around randomly generated maps contain random items with simple unique effects, like "heal when hitting enemies" or "move faster for a few seconds after a kill"; finding the same item again increases its power. You need gold to unlock the chests, which you get by killing enemies and destroying environmental objects. Showing bad skill causes a cascade of unfavourable events: you're losing DPS > you gain gold slower > you loot the levels slower > difficulty creeps up and outscales you.
The demo has 2 levels, 2 bosses, 4 playable characters and a pretty good amount of items. Sadly no multiplayer, which I hope will get added in the full release! These kinds of games are always fun with friends.
