two issues I'm finding with using #Tiddlywiki for most of my personal documentation:

* my solution for self-hosting it with easy in-browser save is kinda PC-centric (I use rclone to serve a local directory as WebDAV over localhost, this could take requests from the LAN but that's still kinda PC-centric)

* unless I'm mistaken, there doesn't seem to be any way to have multiple copies open simultaneously and avoid edit collisions

New Release Banner Competition for v5.4.0

We’re hoping to release TiddlyWiki v5.4.0 in the second half of March. As usual, we’re holding a competition to design the banner image that is shown on the splash screen and within the opening HelloThere tiddler. The artwork should reflect some of the changes in the new version. Switching to #tiddlyWiki desktop from Firefox and the file backups plug in.

Been using that since 2014 I think, but in the last couple weeks I'm reasonably confident a firefox update broke the plug in - it's not been saving correctly and I've got hundreds of backup files all the sudden. I see Mario hasn't updated the plug in in years, so a quick resolution isn't likely.

Probably time for a change anyway 🙂

@limebar You don't need to abandan #tiddlywiki to use a static site generator. I use #astro now, and I writes markdown articles in TiddlyWiki and uses a template in TW wikitext syntax to export them to a format that can be recognized by astro.
