TIL that Vanillin can be synthesized from Guaiacol, which is also a part of the Capsaicin molecule 🌶️. Now I'm obsessed with the idea of very spicy vanilla is flavoring agent.

I think it's a good thing that I didn't become a chemist 👩‍🔬, and don't have access to a laboratory🧪. Also my wife does not allow me to use her pastry chef equipment 👩‍🍳.
