@david Around Melbourne:
• Coolart homestead and wetlands on Mornington Peninsula. Tons of waterbirds.
• Lots of places on Phillip Island. My favourites are the Nobbies, Penguin Parade, Churchill Island, Woolamai beach.
• We’ve got, like, three zoos. Werribee 🦓, Healesville 🐨, and the one in the city 
• Puffing Billy steam train is actually fun. Would do again.
• Point Nepean at tip of Mornington Peninsula is a mix of wildlife and military history, has some WWII ruins.
• Ashcombe hedge maze in Shoreham has lovely gardens.

@david Between Adelaide and Melbourne:
• Kangaroo Island is wondrous to visit—Remarkable Rocks, Little Sahara, secluded Stokes Bay Beach, little penguin colonies at Emu Bay.
• Victor Harbor is pretty, especially the Granite Island causeway.
• Mount Gambier has cool sinkholes.
• Coonawarra wine region is visually amazing whether you care about wine or not. That soil!
• Accessible limestone caves at Naracoorte.
• Port Fairy is pretty. Bird life on Griffith Island, walkable from mainland.
• Tower Hill, the extinct volcano you can drive through.
• Flagstaff Hill maritime village at Warrnambool is much less tacky than most historical villages.
• Great Ocean Road, duh, probably needs its own toot.

A 75km loop around Windermere, England's largest natural lake.

I've spent the last few months editing this film and it's been quite bizarre watching torrential rain, ankle deep mud and low clouds during the current heat waves we've had in the UK.

I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have working on it.

I want to thank Lee and Tom for letting me be a part of their journey and to the race itself!!

I film a handful of ultras a year as Kelp and Fern, mostly in the UK, documenting peoples journeys that otherwise wouldn't be captured and I have never felt so welcome by an event or race before in my 10+ years doing this, they couldn't have done more for me.

So a huge thanks to David the RD and everyone at The Lap for having me.
