A 75km loop around Windermere, England's largest natural lake.
I've spent the last few months editing this film and it's been quite bizarre watching torrential rain, ankle deep mud and low clouds during the current heat waves we've had in the UK.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have working on it.
I want to thank Lee and Tom for letting me be a part of their journey and to the race itself!!
I film a handful of ultras a year as Kelp and Fern, mostly in the UK, documenting peoples journeys that otherwise wouldn't be captured and I have never felt so welcome by an event or race before in my 10+ years doing this, they couldn't have done more for me.

JaakkoThe most common tree species in the Finnish fells is a subspecies of downy birch, adapted to cold and windy conditions. As climate change progresses, the tree line is shifting higher. It is believed that these vast paljakka (treeless fell areas) will eventually disappear from the Finnish fells.
