Municipalities want event organizers to hire more security guards

Private security firms will be hired to take the places of tens of thousands of officers that will be sent to guard the world leaders at the NATO Summit in The Hague at the end of June. Municipalities have asked event organizers to solve the lack of police in this way. The ANP visited more than 200 municipalities throughout the country during the last couple of days. Dozens of municipalities have said that event organizers are now hiring private security firms for their events.
