I impulse bought a #tenugui last summer. Wasn't really sure what to do with it. Seemed like a waste to just have it sit around, too expensive to frame and hang, would be a shame to soil it, cleaning up around the house.

Now I use it to wrap my #notebook - which I take virtually everywhere. This brings me some joy.

Today I took out an new tenugui out to add to my collection. Yagasuri pattern is depicting the feather at the end of the arrow used for archery. Once it leaves the bow it does not come back, so it’s a symbol of good luck.
The navy one is KomeKomon- rice pattern and red one is Mame Shibori- beans pattern.
