The event held multiple mental health workshops which workers participated in for a chance to enter the raffle. The FCJ team got to hand out some raffle prizes to workers and also held an information table at the event, handing out resources regarding our programs. Thank you to everyone who came to speak with us at the event!

Members of the FCJ Refugee Centre's Anti-Human Trafficking team attended the 'Welcome Amigos: Spring BBQ' event in Simcoe, in honour of national mental health week. Agricultural temporary foreign workers in the Simcoe region came from farms nearby to attend the barbecue. The event was supported by community organisations such as TNO, the Huron Farmworkers Ministry, and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
