A Targeted Low‑Energy Neutrino Search for Technosignatures Associated with 1I/'Oumuamua (Oct 17–31, 2017)

This proposal outlines a focused search for low‑energy (10–100 GeV) neutrino signals coincident with the trajectory of the interstellar object 1I/‘Oumuamua during the period 2017‑10‑17 to 2017‑10‑31. Unlike traditional high‑energy neutrino astronomy, this study targets the under‑explored low‑energy regime where atmospheric background dominates and standard IceCube filters remove the majority of events. Using modern graph neural network (GNN) architectures capable of re‑analyzing L2 waveform‑level data, this project aims to identify temporally structured or directionally coherent signals that could indicate engineered communication or information‑bearing emissions. This is a novel technosignature channel that has not been systematically investigated.
