If you get RAT'd or remote administration tool malware enters your system follow theses steps.
Step 1. don't panic and move quickly.
step 2. RIP out your Ethernet cord or kill the pc via psu switch.

While the pc is on and connected to the internet the tool has control. Remove one of the side of this triangle and the tool collapses. Once you have control back either boot into safe mode to scrub the tool or restore a back up before the date the tool was introduced.

Never listen to demands, move as fast as possible to limit the time the rat has on the system and finally for the love of the gods get a decent anti-malware tool like malewarebytes or something to prevent the rat from entering the system in the first place. Also as another layer of security lock your sys admin privilege prompt behind a pin or password instead of a confirm dialogue window.

Would recommend for those interested in system safety, healthcare safety and safety science.
