I'm having to re-run some experiments I did two years ago because I didn't record exactly what I did and I can't remember all the details. But now it's all fresh in my memory again, so there's no need to document it, is there!

Sometimes my #StupidBrain deserves a kick in the ass.

If I've got a deadline, I'll usually try to get ahead of it & build a buffer in case I hit unexpected problems or can't maintain the pace. You'd think this would reduce my stress. You'd be wrong. 🤦‍♀️
Instead, what often happens is that my 🤬-ing idiot brain starts to panic that the buffer isn't enough.
"You've got 2 weeks of work done ahead of time, but what if you get delayed by a month?! You're actually 2 weeks behind!!!" it wails. 🙄
