We got a new player on the field 😱 A quick internet search tells me it's either a beech marten or a pine marten, but most likely a beech marten.

A stonemarten marking its territory. I guess we're fortunate they have plenty of natural places to stay here so they do not (🀞) feel the need to come into the house

OK, mice are not what I put the trail cam up for but it's still super fun to see them going about their daily business. The stone marten (or beech marten) (next post) is maybe more what I was hoping for when I bought them. But then again, any wildlife will make me smile to be honest :)
