Slow day with the wolves today. It wasn't too hot, but it was warm and most of the animals were taking it easy.

The two timber wolves, one of which is pictured here sprawled out on her back, alternated between laying in the Sun and curling up in the shade. The puppies are a few months old now, and both enjoyed going in their water trough.

The stove has not been on for a while, and I keep an eye on him when it is, but he loves coming up here to sprawl out.

Really, it's gotten hot and humid again and that's kind of all I feel like doing too today.

Another pic from yesterday... I went up to help with some electrical work at the nature center. A staff member has a couple of huskies, both of which were happy to supervise. They were very curious about my tools (which probably smell a little like George), and took an interest in the wiring I was doing. That said, they kept a safe distance. They were both extremely fluffy, and were enjoying the air conditioning.

When outside during the day, these two will often start making their weird husky noises, which tends to get all of our wolves howling. They are quite the trendsetters.
