The SPHEREx Satellite Mission

The #SPHEREx (Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization, and Ices Explorer) space telescope is conducting a two-year, all-sky survey in near-infrared light to create a 3D map of the cosmos.
Its primary goals include investigating the period of cosmic inflation right after the #BigBang, tracing the history of galaxy evolution, and searching for water and organic molecules—the ingredients for life—in the Milky Way.
NASA assets that are planning to gather observations of 3I/ATLAS include: Hubble, Webb, TESS, Swift, SPHEREx, Perseverance rover, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Curiosity rover, Europa Clipper, Lucy, Psyche, Parker Solar Probe, PUNCH, and ESA/NASA’s SOHO and Juice.
