I need an assist. This instance is hosted by Spacebear. I want to move to a host who actually responds. Is there a way I can get a backup of my instance to move to a new server? Without actual server access...
@Astrattamente @pixelfed sorry, seems spacebear.ee hosting is having some problems ( @support ), we have pixelfed.uno hosted with them, let's hope they solve their problem soon!
We used #spacebear to set up dcae.fyi it was super easy and only €16/month.
The hardest thing we did was set the A-name record and make our channel header image.
I absolutely recommend it for anyone who wants their own #mastodon instance set up, but don't have the time to get it rolled up.

Content moderation and some light instance federating/blocking type stuff is still needed with those, but you don’t have to understand all the apps underneath, databases, file storage, where logs go, etc.
