Mega Synthesis is an experimentation in classic #16bit sound using Sonicware's Liven Mega Synthesis synth/groovebox, which is an accurate recreation of the soundchips that provided the sounds for legendary #SegaGenesis soundtracks. Messing around and learning the synth and running it through additional processing with the SP-404 mkii and Reaper, I came up with these five tracks that bring the the retro video game sound into a modern context over some banging drums.
