My other half makes cinematic soundscapes and occasionally does so live. The first time I saw him do a complete piece as a solo performance, it was like hearing the inside of his brain. Gorgeous and strange, but extremely narrative. Like an abstract story, or tagging along on a dream. That shape and composition of the cognition of sound is fascinating.
