Welp. I guess it's that time of day in #myday. It seems no matter what I may be doin or not doin, my getty ups n goes, leaving me sitting spoonless.🥴

So, it has happened to me again, right now #today. 😏

I was just about to wander back outside in the sunshine to take another whack at my weeds. But the body just said NOPE 👎

Thankfully, my getty up got me up n out to saw up n stack the big fat Pin-oak tree branch and whack at the too tall grass around it. So, not a total loss today. 💪

Actually, it being #SofaSunday and all that was required of me was lots of couch slouching n such, I've had a pretty productive day. 👌

Yeah, sacrilege on #SofaSunday, but HEY. 😜

Hey, y'all 👋. Good morning and Happy #SofaSunday to all ya fellow sofa surfer out there. 🤗
I'm sorta up with the rising sun. Well, I'm awake, at least. 💪😉

Staring out at a partly cloudy but very sunny start to #myday #today. 🌞
It's on the warm side at 55deg F, heading into the high 70s again.👍
Then in comes the rain, the weather folk say, heavy, stormy, windy stuff, witj the temperature falling through the floor towards freeze and a few day of winter returning. 🤯
They are even talking
the possibility of snow falling.
That would be something. 😯
We haven't had that happen all season here. So, HEY. Maybe a chance of snow angel making after all. 😜
Though I won't get my hopes up. Such promises and predictions have been made before. So, I'll sit n sip n wait n see, on that one.😏

Being the last chance of getting out to bask in the sunshine, today's sofa surfing will most likely be postponed for funtime yard work outside. Would you believe the grass n weeds have grown so big already that whacking action at them in needed already? And in mid-March! 🥴

Welp, enough tooting for this morning. There's coffee sipping and sitting in the morning sunshine to get doing. So, y'all have a great day of couch potato-ing today. 🤗🖖

Good morning and happy #SofaSunday to you. I’m the only one up at the moment. Husband is sleeping in and the cats, having been given their breakfast, have already gone back to sleep. I’ve got clean laundry to fold and a dishwasher to unload, but for now I’m soaking up the silence. I wish I could deposit this peaceful feeling into a mental bank account, stored until I needed it under stress. So far I haven’t managed that ability.

So, since it's still dark outside, and the coffee pot has yet to wake up n perk up my morning coffee for proper sitting n sipping and getting #myday underway, I'm gonna just wish y'all a happy day of sofa surfing n roll over n go back to sleep. 💪🥱😴

There's only one thing to say about the start of #myday #today.
That is "TGIS". Thank Goodness it's #Slackerday!

The sequel to the much celebrated #TGIF Friday of the end of the slog through the week to findly finding it the last day before slowing down n sitting back and forgetting the gotta doins n musta doins of the week now past, to instead focus on a day of fun stuff doins n a lot less Honey-doins. All in the effort to wind down n slack off in preparation of a day of sofa surfing on tomorrow's #SofaSunday. 💪

So, at least so goes my big plans for today. 👍

The weather gods are pushing those plans too today. Sending in lots of morning fog, thick clouds to cover the sun, and threatening a day of thundering rain n gusty winds, keeping me comfortably sitting, sipping n watching it happen through my window all weekend. ☁️

So, I suppose I best get a move in and get to my morning sitting n sipping and getting #myday of weather watching underway. ☕️💪

Good morning! March started out here with strong sun, but now clouds have moved in. Being a fickle and unpredictable month, it will bring us a dusting of snow tomorrow. Despite it being #SofaSunday I'll go out and walk to take advantage of half-way decent weather while we've got it.

Big branches damaged in last Sunday's storm continue to give up and drop. It is not unusual to hear the crack of something falling in the woods when I'm outside. I stick to open areas. Safety first.

It's the first day of March, and the weather gods appear to be celibrating it with a summer weather party here today.

It's a summer like cool 43deg F at sun up this morning. It's off a sunny start. But, the clouds are expected to control the sky most of the day today. Maybe if they are feeling generous, they will let the sun shine through a little. But supposedly, most likely, not enough to sit n sip n bask a bit in. So, I'll hurry up n go sit n sip n wait n see how long I get to soak in some this morning. ☕️😎

Though, the wearher folks are still counting on it to warm things up to a hot 80deg at some point this afternoon. 🥵

With our humidity sitting at 90% this morning, I'm sorta expecting pur first taste of the muggy-sticky stuff our summer's si often hits us with. I'm looking forward to any of that today, for sure. 🥴

We will, of course, open the house for the fresh air and hope for the best to not be sitting n sipping in sweat.🤞

So, I suppose my big plans of doin' nothin' but relaxing on my sofa, just slouching and napping on it throughout #myday, is a good one for the weather expected today.🤔

Welp, I suppose I best get busy doin' just that, before the wife gets up n claims the couch for herself. 😏

Happy #SofaSunday! Like many others we're expecting more snow + wind than we can handle. I've decided it's futile to check in with my weather app any more after snow totals went up overnight to over 12". After all, does it matter if it's 10" or 16"? It's going to be a pain to deal with. Around here it means kids will be lucky to get to school by Wednesday.

We'll get through it. Eventually we'll see the ground again. But 2026 just keeps adding " just one more thing" to deal with.
