This morning I made a nice quiet place with a rock wall, a boulder for a seat and some pebbles in the coolest part of the forest so I could relax, escape the heat and contemplate.
Turns out this is now a communal space and I have to share that seat with someone who did _not_ lug it 500M up hill....

A beloved friend, solid comrade and the most selfless and tireless First Nations activist has spent so many years giving everything he has to his communities now finds himself in a massive crisis. For the first time ever and with difficulty, he is now asking for material solidarity for himself. I can't personally vouch for this person enough. He is in a situation where he really really needs a sliver of the help he has spent giving to others to now boomerang back to him. Please show him some love if you possibly can. Much thanks. <3

First Nations Homelessness Activist needs urgent help due to leaving a DV situation and ending up homeless himself

Our comrade and friend has become homeless due to leaving a volatile DV situation at home and is currently living out of his car in Nth QLD.
Ongoing assistance and activism for homeless mob and constant caring for others has meant that he does not have any savings and is not having any luck with Men’s DV services.
The amount of money, time and effort this person puts into caring for community is endless and our comrade has never asked for help before and is anxious about asking for help that is both needed and well deserved.
Please help to get him back on his feet and into a safe and stable future.
Funds will be used for emergency accommodation, car and transport costs and general living expenses while living out of his car.
