Just in case anyone here is or may soon be looking for a good book to read, the latest one from Jim C. Hines #SlayersOfOld is a stand alone, good fun urban fantasy that is pretty much romance free and funny.

Also, the Slayers of the title are all much older than your standard UF protagonists, with two being at least in their fifties and one just about to hit their century. And age is very much wearing on them all, as are multiple parts of their personal histories.

If that sounds like fun, check it out. And if you do read it, I'd love to hear how other folks felt/thought about it.

Got this one through Netgalley. Was so excited when approval came. Jim C. Hines has been one of my favorite writers since I stumbled into a signing one pay day and picked up all the Libriomancer books.
