If you haven’t seen *Monarch: Legacy of Monsters* season one, I highly recommend. It’s a fantastic entry point into the franchise and truly brings the emotional and character-rich narratives to the forefront while providing the incredible visuals for which the franchise is known.

Watching some #MonsterVerse movies ahead of #GodzillaXKong. I'd hoped to watch it in theaters, but I'll settle for it showing up on Max this week.
First up is #SkullIsland, which I started watching again a while back, but didn't finish. It's a decent flick, but I think Peter Jackson's Skull Island is superior (but maybe I just have a weak spot for Kong fighting T-Rexes). Next is #GodzillaVsKong, which is just dumb fun.

I freely admit, I have a soft spot for #SkullIsland as a place of mystery, wonder, and horror.
I loved Peter Jackson's take on the island because it was so prehistoric - Kong facing off against T-Rex's was epic.
The #Monsterverse though, gives us Kong, equally huge monsters, and hints of the #hollowearth
It makes me want to go there ... if only in role-playing games. :) #TTRPG
