Chase Jarvis sagte mal öffentlichkeitswirksam “The best camera is the one that's with you.” und Leute verstehen das oft als "Die beste Kamera ist die, die man gerade dabei hat."

AFAIR war das eher als "Man sollte die beste Kamera mitnehmen." gemeint. Und es gibt so Kameras die belegen dass das mindestens einen wahren Kern hat.

So z.B. die unterirdische Kamera im #MinimalPhone #MP01. Die eignet sich bestenfalls für Notizähnliches oder QR-Code-Erkennung.

One of my delights in photography is working with unconventional kit. Here is the same scene, shot with three different cameras.

In no particular order:
Samsung NX1 with 12-24 zoom
Jollylook Pinhole shooting onto B&W Instax Mini
A toy camera that prints onto thermal paper.

What I love is that all three of these have their special charms. I think the Jollylook is my favourite, but they are all interesting images.

For #52Frames week 13: Mood.

This week wasn’t great for me. Too busy, too oversocialised, recurring foot injury keeping me on the couch.

I’m ready for the sun to rule the skies for a couple of months (during which i'll 100% complain about the heat)

I do like how the vignetting has turned the cloudy sky into some weird gas giant planet though. Like some desaturated blurry picture of neptune or uranus with some silly maple branch in front of it.

The carrillon shows up at 12 and 18 o'clock every day. Kids and parents dance to its music, the pasodoble "Amparito Roca", the local anthem.

The second picture is accidental cause I don't know how this shitty camera works :D I tried to take a video but oh well.
