This update sees a couple of rare appearances of some Silicon Graphics RISC machines, and a RISC-based Starring-the-Computer newcomer. The "Black Mirror" episode "Plaything" has an SGI Indy, a couple of Commodore machines (a 64 and SX64) and, making its debut, the Acorn Risc PC. The episode "High Score" of "The Bill" has some shots of an SGI Indigo2, as well as an Apple Macintosh LC and a Dell 4XX/P NetPlex.

Can someone explain the appeal of transparent computer cases to me, or cases with windows, or interior RGB lighting?

To me the ideal PC shape is the NeXTcube. Or if you want a splash of color an SGI Octane or something.

Not criticizing your choices, but like… why do you want to see the dust gathering inside your case all the time lit up by garish colors?

what am I missing (other than a sense of fun and whimsy)?

Found something interesting in the ewaste bin today. Excited and scared to learn another vintage computing platform. #sgiindy
