So #Weather wise theme of last two weeks has been…heat. Surprise ! We are now in that thing where night time temps lag in the cooling dept. if your lowest temps are later (3-5 AM) heating starts up again soonerer. We’ve had some #Mesoscale activity that has delayed storm formation in the southern Gulf. It’s not beyond us to hope for some extended quenching behaviors but truth be told once SST’s hit peaks extending from Atlantic basin to Gulf things tend to amp up . We’ll see.

#SFla #Weather Dept: Well we've had the typical threshold events, punctuated several days ago by the lone crack-boom of a badly aimed lone bolt hitting a fence in the wee hours AFTER a marginal t-storm blew thru (#Thor being notably dyslexic, as some discover to their misfortune). Hi temps have awakened the froggers and the crickets are a' cricketing. Missed the bats this eve, now wondering if several crow flights (200-300 maybe) winging southward are confused as to where the party actually is-

So, we went off plan on leg one of our #sfla but made it to Brookdale after all. Building contingency plans now

Today turned out to be day zero of our #sfla #california #bicycle tour. The bikes took some damage in flight and we needed brake bleeding, shifter indexing fixes, and a headset preload adjustment.

@MissingThePt I often take guff for keeping mine at 79 F in #SFla.
