Have you ever noticed how sometimes very progressive people can be every bit as sex-negative and puritan as very conservative people?

And I'm not talking about ordinary causes like getting consent and behaving oneself in the workplace. I mean actually harboring and expressing real negativity and hostility about sex, when the opposite is more what one might otherwise expect.
