This one shot from Pilger Nebraska on 6/16/2014 haunts me for its failures. Second tornado becoming a satellite of the third. Its hand held at 170mm on a heavy 100-400mm zoom. The shutter speed was too low 1/160s. Shutter speed should be at least double the focal length or you get blurry results. Handheld, running down the road, and caught the one random CG. Totally blurred shot. 9 years later, trying to fix with AI deblur. Maybe another 9 years it will be ok. #photography #wx #severwx #tornado

This past Saturday's storm chase brought us to South Jersey and specifically, Cow Town & Carney's Point, where we saw tornadic cells, supercells, anvil clouds, ridonkulous lightning, and this fantastic shelf cloud!
