3. Final Fantasy VII
This was my first final fantasy, and probably my second rpg, after Pokémon. My oldest sibling got it as one of the first games for our Playstation. I remember watching her playing through Midgar before starting my own save.
We had PRINTED OUT an entire walk through because someone my sister met icq told her about the secret characters and we could not figure out how to get Vincent. I set up my dialog boxes with a really garish rainbow effect and I think I maxed out the in game timer. Got multiple golden chocobos
I was probably a little young too really process the messages it was trying to get across on my first play through, but it instilled a love of the genre that is largely responsible for my purchase of Septerra Core. I bring this up solely because I couldn't fit it in the list and I think it's a fascinating game lol.
The fifth game in the Legend of Heroes: Trails series and the second game in the Crossbell duology, Trails to Azure, has now been officially released in English, and is available in a launch bundle with an artbook, a soundtrack sampler, and a bonus game exclusive to #GOG: an old western-made #JRPG called Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator.
For anyone who doesn't know: The #TrailsSeries (within the #TheLegendOFHeroes) is a long-running JRPG series developed by #Falcom that's divided into groups of games that take place in different geographic areas of the same fictional continent.

More #TourmaGaming!
Tonight I played #BeautifulDesolation a South African post apocalyptic sci fi Adventure Game. It really is a good looking game, reminding me of #ChronoCross and #SepterraCore. The puzzles are a bit more logic based, (not much rubbing items on everything,) nor does it brutally kill you every few minutes, (Sierra,) and in general a very enjoyable game.
