新年快乐 it’s Chinese new year this week, so I decided to cut a “Yin & Yang “ design gemstone.
Amatrine is part citrine yellow, and part Amythest purple, being opposites and equal parts of the same gem material.
Here a little new year’s fireworks display in a 15 mm gemstone.

Update on the silver flag brooch; not happy with the colour, since it’s a gift it’s got to be perfect so I’m going to do it again. Didn’t want to just melt this down tho so I finished polishing it.
