We have the innate immune system, and we have the adaptive immune system, which we have known how to give hints and references, and encourage, for a century and a half, and now we are heading toward an overlay of direct instructions to immune components, an engineered immune system. But there is probably a better name for that upper layer.

The accelerated expansion of the present universe, believed to be driven by a mysterious dark energy, is one of the greatest puzzles in our understanding of the cosmos. The standard model of cosmology called Lambda-CDM, explains this expansion as a cosmological constant in Einstein's field equations. However, the cosmological constant itself lacks a complete theoretical understanding, particularly regarding its very small positive value.

So yes, #scirnce and #scientists do make, and have always made, absolute pronouncements that are later proven false or incomplete even when following the #ScientificMethod.

Who's to say the hallowed, revered #scientific #method itself may not one to be proven to be flawed..?
