In echt tendiert das Gelb eher zu Curry als zu Eidotter.
(Bildbeschreibung: eine angefange Spitzendecke in hellgrün und weiß mit gelben Akzenten liegt auf einer Sofalehne)
Interesting: I'm working on this collar / necklace and since I work with a slightly thicker yarn, I thought I could adjust the size by the number of repeats of Row 1.
Turns out, R1 is flexible and can be curved into almost any radius, but Row 2 actually has a fixed radius O.O
So fewer/more repeats would have left me with an incomplete circle or overlapping ends.
Different yarn weights will result in a larger/smaller circle.
I'm glad I tried this out 🤩

Thanks to @yarnplayer's suggestion to use a lock join, my scalloped edge looks so much more scalloped now <3
One question remains, though: the pattern says to work this round with one shuttle and the ball.
So normally I'd have to work the little 10 st ring pointing to the outside of the arch with the ball thread, right?
I fudged it by switching threads, worked the ring with the shuttle thread and then switched back. Is that correct?
My scalloped edge looks all weird :-(
It doesn't arch at all, and there is no v-shape where I connect to the picot of the previous round.
What am I doing wrong?
