Word from an NIH program officer: There are zero grants being funded that have an international subaward.
International collaborations are currently not being allowed by NIH.
Any grant you developed with an international group, you have to cut that collaboration out, and show you can do it without them, to get the grant award.
You're given a choice between backstabbing your international collaborators, or going broke.

Holy smokes. $1.8 *billion* cut from NIH research, from terminating 694 grants, at the end of April. This is before the upcoming cuts they want in the budget for next year, or the money not yet spent this year!

Half a billion dollars. That sounds like a lot, until you realize the NIH alone supported **$30 billion** in funding for research last year before Trump got his mitts on it.
