Speaking of movies, Nosferatu was a pretty good watch. I didn't expect it to be.
Santuary on the other hand, was kinda mehh. Although, I think Margaret Qualley is pretty with her thick eyebrows and wacko expressions.
@datum thank you that was SO INTERESTING!! And the part that pisses me off is that if I needed to prove to Social Security for example that the letter I needed to respond to you within 10 days of them mailing it didnāt actually reach me in 10 days, would I be able to access this data to prove what day that mail got to me? Unlikely. And even if I could prove I didnāt get the mail in time Iām not sure if that would change the requirement for me to respond within a certain amount of time or if I will just be shit out of luck because thatās usually how that works.
But thank you for sending this to me! I still have the screenshot of the email where they sent me a photo of another manās medical mail, Iām going to figure out how to send that to the dem senators who are trying to get this stopped/changed.
Also this part, not according to my stateās MMJ program:
āThe USPS (quite reasonably) points out thereās no expectation of privacy in the information contained on the outside of mail. And thatās an understandable position to take⦠to a certain extent.ā
The medical cannabis program here decided that they can all use our information for marketing purposes but if any of the Weed stores mail us anything it CANNOT have the dispensary name on it, it CANNOT reveal that we are medical cannabis patients. And last year #Santuary in #NH sent out a coupon flat that indicated they hadnāt seen me at that weed store in awhile (I have never been) and I was furious. I complained to the program they told me that sanctuary claimed it was a printer error, I explained this is exactly why our medical information should never be used for marketing purposes.
And now the federal government knows I have a Weed Card because that mail got scanned with everybody elseās mail.
I wonder if itās too late to sue them for a #HIPAA violation. I wonder if I have to show actual damages, I think this morning Iām going to inquire about that because Iām mad now. Iām also going to send this article to the guy who runs the cannabis program so he understands what sanctuary did to all of us with their āprinter errorā.
One of the bears at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is doing what they like best: showing natural behavior. The fence is 15 feet (4.5 meters). We were terrified the branch would snap and that the bear would fall, but he made it back down no problem.
