Weary Wulf[P] Bleh. I'd thought better of the TMNT fandom, but... Frankly? Recent opinions of Rise—post-Tales—reek of homophobia, autistiphobia, and anti-ADHD bigotry. I'd say "for shame," but this sort of behaviour is beyond shame. See, it's a cartoon about mutant turtles! And we can enjoy that, unless... the show-runners DARE make them aught but white, cis, neurotypical, regular straight boi stereotypes! That's where we draw the line, is it? [P] And no, this isn't comfort. One can comfort in a sincere way that derives from empathy, it's meaningful and long-lasting. And neuronormatives stink at it! What neuronormatives do is this very manioulative dopamine brain buzz thing, and they'll get fed up with you VERY quickly if that doesn't work. I've seen that time and again. I mean, it's the bread and butter of neuronormative GPs who want patients in-and-out as fast as possible.
