[P] I'm just sitting here.thinking about Rise of the TMNT and how much it resonated with me. I wlso dug '80s TMNT and '03 TMNT too. Hm, not 2012 though, that one made Donnie a creepy control-freak stalker and I'm not a fan. 2012's was exceedingly shallow though, and had shallow, problematic opinions about a lots of things. Rise was the opposite.of that in how sensitive it was, loaded with autusm and ADHD rep. I still miss it.

[P] It plays into how neuronormatives (supposedly, hypothetically, wishful-thinkingly) believe they love novelty whereas auties don't. So there you have the neuronormative hiverarchy drones loathing Rise for being so neurodiverse and unliie what they're familiar wirh, and here's me, Mr. Tisms, who loves almoat every depiction of TMNT (the old comics and the IDW comics are equally good, bite me). It just amuses me a lot.

[P] Q.E.D. and all that, neuronormatives DON'T like novelty because that's contrary to familiarity, and familiarity is good reward juice! There's a reason neuronormatives get nostalga so much—all of that "back in my day!" doesn't sound like appreciating novelty to me. I get why they think it, they erroneously see themselves as novel as dopamine reward-chasing has a narcissism component to it, and we object to their "novelty."

[P] That's the wrong word i don't object to novelty, I object to their entropy! I love preservation! And what they do is entropic noise, the bad stimulus, the harmful and destructive nonsense. Whuuf, I can hear Donnie in my own voice when I talk and type, they really did nail the rep. The point is? Neuronormatives bring with them unnecessary entropy. Where rhey walk, nothing will ever be the same again. See: Earth and climate-change.

[P] I want to stress this again, as I want to give fellow autists this sord as it took me time to realise. I don't object to tbeir novelty because Racist Boomer Uncle Bill (which all neuronormatives are destined to become, with Millennials now using "back in my day" too) isn't very novel. What I object to is their unnecessary entropy, they bring it with them wherever they go and it ultimately always causes harms. I find it rational to object.

[P] I don't want the harms caused by the unnecessary entropy of neuronormative reward-chasing in my home, thanks~. The problem is is that they'll always chsse reward (they can do no other, it is their nsture), this destructive behaviour will alwayz result in unnecessary entropy, and thus harms. What tweaks me is whsn they try to reinvent reward-chasing. It's "novelty" or it's "Theory of Mind" or some other brain rot. No, it's reward-chasing.

[P] What separates us is oxytocin and dopamine. In overactive instances (neuronormativity): It results in familiarity-fetisihism and reward-chasing, and prioritising charisma of the three intellkgences. In underactive instances (neurodiversity): It results in other avenues being pursued (special interests, empathy, and moral values in lieu of neuronormative mores), and prioritising emotional and intellectual of the three intelligences.

[P] I'm just looking forward to when neuronormatives can be as honest and sincere about this, instead of inventing snide little bigotries like "Theory of Mind," the hatred of novelty, low-empathy, or "abhorrently high" ethical standards (no, not joking, studies have claimed "pathological morality" too). I just look forward where they don't choose to be slimy, skeevy, used car salesmen who propagandise overactive dopamine and oxytocin.

[P] Oh, and for the record? No autist is low-empathy. What they mean when they say that is "cognitive empathy," which is a euphemism for socially-directed manipulation skills enabled by charismatic intelligence. In other words: being able to read another person's emotions without feeling it, and then using that data to manipulate their feelings (for good or ill, usually ill unless one is of their immediate hivrrarchy strata).

#psychology #actuallyautistic #riseofthetmnt

-9

[P] So, "cognitive emoathy," as they euphemistically call it, is a talent that utilises charismatic intelligence. They call it emoathy becsuse they aren't so familiar with what empathy is, due to their preference for charisma intelligence. It's like comparing an ostrich snd an eagle—both have wings but one clearly knows more about flying due to their experiences. This is the problem neuronormatives have—they believe in their own omniscience.

[P] This is why I liked Rise Donnie! He ckearly felt things and he had empathy, but he wasn't at all emotionally manipulative, he was sincere, he had no "cognitive empathy." He didn't have the will or the means to manipulate others into feeling good. This is something neuronormatives feel VERY entitled to and they can become nasty if they don't get it. I hate manipulation, doing or receiving. It makes my skin crawl. It's so dishonest.

[P] And no, this isn't comfort. One can comfort in a sincere way that derives from empathy, it's meaningful and long-lasting. And neuronormatives stink at it! What neuronormatives do is this very manioulative dopamine brain buzz thing, and they'll get fed up with you VERY quickly if that doesn't work. I've seen that time and again. I mean, it's the bread and butter of neuronormative GPs who want patients in-and-out as fast as possible.

[P] "You get a brain buzz! You get a brain buzz! You get—eurrgh... Why isn't this working on you? What do you mean I have to do my job and earn my pay by actually diagnosing something?" — Every single neuronormative GP I've ever met. It's why I long for GPs who're neurodiverse in some way. I'm always so happy when that happens. I want real empathy, not charismatic manipulation from a doctor. I don't get to pick and choose though, so...
