Anyone use #irc on #Android? #RevolutionIRC deletes my channels, doesn't send notifications, and loses connection. #Goguma loses connection, doesn't run in background, and doesn't send notifications.

I now have #znc connecting with #sasl to #freenode and #oftc. Now to sort out authenticatimg #erc and #revolutionirc to znc with certs.

@shadowfacts this reminds me of my today's visit to #revolutionirc on freenode where someone was subtly annoyed that @MrARM was focusing on other projects instead of adding more features to Revo
like, Revo has a working viable product, from my point of view the things that are left to do are nice-to-haves

For several years I've been wanting to hook up to the SDF Machine, but still no go.
I'm unfortunately mostly on an evil Android device and just installed #revolutionIRC to connect to your helpdesk. Unfortunately I can't connect there either.

Server: irc.sdf.org
Port: 6697
SSL/TLS: √
Auth. mode: CertFP¹
Username: @neb

¹Maybe I should use Username+password? Recovery of that is my nr. 1 question, though.

@antonlopez ya lo he comentado otras veces que #Pidgin al ser multiplataforma no está a la última en todo. Tampoco tiene #httpupload por ejemplo y me parece que tampoco soportaba los carbons, pero hace tiempo que lo probé la última vez.

Por otra parte, Pidgin es sencillo de usar y te permite tener diferentes comunicaciones desde un solo programa. Como solemos decir, lo peor del !softwarelibre es que te permite elegir y te pasas la vida eligiendo. XD

En mi caso prefiero un programa para cada cosa. Por ejemplo para #irc, tengo #Konversation (con K de @kde, está bien escrito) en el escritorio y #RevolutionIRC en el teléfono.

Lo dicho #unsinvivir :)
