Installing #Resynthesizer for #Gimp on my Mac with MacPorts... Talk about a long install! So many dependencies.

I've become too dependent on Adobe's Generative Fill. I'd love to drop that subscription. How are people's experience using #Resynthesizer?

Development news for everyone afraid they'd lose Resynthesizer: Lloyd Konneker has been working on finishing up the porting of #Resynthesizer plug-in for #GIMP v3, so that it is ready when GIMP 3.0.0 is out. 👍

I installed the GIMP 2.99.18 flatpak in anticipation of 3.0-RC1 arriving in the near future.

All seems good except the Resynthesizer plugin which, while available, doesn't seem to work. I use the Heal Selection tool provided by that plugin quite often.

The G'MIC Qt plugin does appear to work and I understand that an equivalent effect can be achieved with it. I'll have to do some research on it.

Aqui trabajando en unas fotos que estoy restaurando de mi familia en #gimp . Estas tenian muchas rasgaduras por lo que he tenido que tener mucho cuidado de no romperlas ya que por el el momento #gimp no trabaja de forma no destructiva. Pero estoy muy contento con los resultados ya que con el #plugin #Resynthesizer y el #sharpenmask he logrado tener excelentes resultados. Pense que no iba a poder restaurar con #gimpsoftware pero estoy asombrado de todo lo que se puede hacer con #gimp . Esperando a que salga los efectos y mascaras no destructivas para #gimp3 . El #softwarelibre es lo mejor.
