Getting up to speed with the disastrous #RagnarokOnline3 announcement. Tbf the first #RO was as much #gacha as it was possible in 2002. People bought DBs and oridecons and everything from botters, what you'd get then was random. Ingame inflation was out of control, girls would just sit and wait to get a hat present. Gacha is just the evolution of it where devs now officially sell what bots used to farm and sell effectively putting them out of business. Reducing the grind would be a solution
