I'm a big fan of rambling coherently.
When I first discovered, decades ago, that my avocation as a stand-up storyteller working with musical accompaniment could be fairly accurately described as being a "raconteur" (hence the Esperanto translation for my Mastodon identity), I was annoyed, because calling oneself a raconteur sounds ever so precious/-tentious, but in my mid-fifties, I'm more comfortable with a little pomp and affectation in my manner, so I dub myself "raconteur électronique" and revel.
My resolution for all my future stage performances is to never drink from a bottle on stage. Just like drinking from a straw, no one ever looks good drinking from a bottle, particularly when well-lit in a room where almost everyone is looking at you.
