"Leap," is a short story in the first, in the collection Boys of Summer; Exit Plans for Teenage Freaks was my first YA novel, "Hope Echoes" is a novella included in the tree-novella book Three Left Turns to Nowhere, and then the aforementioned Stuck With You, my hi-lo novel.

When I was a queerling, none of the queer young adult books out there were available to me. They existed—I didn’t know, no one was going to hand them to me—which always made me want to add queer YA to the world. It’s like time travel; I write the stories I wish I’d found.
