#Pumoku will now autosave and load a current sudoku, and prompt you to save a game when appropriate.
Along with various small fixes and improvements, the current version is a good step forwards.

Available from https://origin.cdn.kde.org/flatpak/pumoku-nightly/org.kde.pumoku.flatpakref, freshly updated to test, and closer to being ready for #linux_on_mobile

It is now possible for #linux users to download a #flatpak to test #pumoku. Get it from https://invent.kde.org/alund/pumoku/-/jobs/3622425/artifacts/download

What you get is a zip file, so unzip it, open the pumoku.flatpak with whateveryouuseforthat (like kde discover) and install it.

Let me know how it went, and if you like pumoku, which today got a nice tablet mode that is also quite usefull on deskop. Just bear in mind that pumoku meant for mobile, so no keyboard support at least at this time :)

This is a amd64 package, so not suitable for most #linux_on_mobile users - yet. The kde/qt runtime flatpak will be downloaded as well, if not present.

I have not mentioned #pumoku for a while - but it is now possible to try it out if you care to build it from source: grab from https://invent.kde.org/alund/pumoku and let me know what you think :)

It is playable, but absolutely not a final product yet.

After a rather stressful start of the year at my day job (cooking lunch for approximately 700 1-6 y.o.'s), I have had time and energy for taking a look at #pumoku this weekend.
The initial interface for the qqwing sudoku generator/solver is functional, so that pumoku can generate puzzles and check/solve userprovided ones. Qqwing has a rather rough grader, with only four levels of which the hardest may provide games with no singles to start with and up to pure guessing, so I have started fine-graining that a bit, and looking at adding some more details to the solver at some point.
It feels good though, it worked about as I thought it would, and I'm slowly remembering how to write C++ without too much (static_cast) grief :p

#pumoku progress:

* Lots of UI polishing
* finishing screen improvements
* hints and stats seems to appear at some point :p
* Progress indication, in digit keys and global
* Landscape orientation support (in progress)
* Nice icon
* ... and more

Pumoku is a #plasmamobile #sudoku app, for #linuxphones (and other mobile devices), not yet released but maybe in a not so distant future?

@homer77 I don't find it much usable as a phone yet, I can text but no mms atm, and calls have audio issues. So I decided to follow the development closer ... I'm working on a #plasma mobile sudoku app - #pumoku, which I can hopefully soon start testing on the device.

Logical pencilmark errors in #PuMoKu :D

(A logical pencilmark error is that a pencilmark is set for a digit that is present in either of the cells houses.)

The entire cell is highlighted, so you are still required to look around and figure out which mark causes the error. Displaying the error in the culprit pencilmark only is easy to do - do you think I should make that possible, or even default for displaying such errors?

I designed this (I think) nice congratulation widget for PuMoKu. As you may guess, it is meant to pop up when a game is solved only. It will not obey though, for reasons I do not understand, as copied the code from the #kirigami wizzards :\
The idea is that it does not cover the board, so that you can have a look before moving on. Hopefully, I will get along with #qtquick, #qml at kirigami at some point ...
