I'm slightly surprised #PSNI #bodycams don't have all the telemetry info that you normally see on the same devices in #England - although maybe this was a #detective wearing a more discreet one (same as civillians in my region started wearing whilst dogwalking due to XL Bully paranoia?)

Whats more worrying is it seems the kind of IED used would be a lot easier to make (being based on easily available LPG) than the old #IRA ones which used Semtex / C4 and other things which are highly restricted..

#Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has urged renewed focus on road safety as provisional PSNI figures show 57 people died in road traffic collisions in Northern #Ireland in 2025, down from 69 in 2024. She expressed sympathy to bereaved families and those seriously injured, and called on all road users to take responsibility, citing evidence that most deaths and serious injuries are caused by human error. The minister highlighted concern over vulnerable road users, noting 16 pedestrian deaths in 2025, including nine people aged 65 or over, and urged drivers to take extra care during dark winter months. The Department for Infrastructure said it continues to work with the #PSNI and emergency services on education, engineering and enforcement. Chief Superintendent Sam Donaldson said police would maintain enforcement efforts and reminded road users to avoid the “fatal five”, including speeding, impairment, inattention, mobile phone use and not wearing seatbelts.
