It's been a couple of weeks since my last #shave so today's the day. Why do I write it on #Mastodon? Because for a year I've been doing it live on Instagram while speaking about #feminism to and for men. I was thinking that it would have been a good move to do so, shaving with a #straightrazor while talking how #patriarchy strips up of basic human decency and our emotional center would have worked. I've received a lot of compliments for the idea from a lot of people but only once I actually had people joining me. One more frustration given to me by #performativeactivism and #professionalactivism, since everyone is too busy running after their own algorithm and their own ephemeral glory while I was trying to create a collective work around it. I still have many ideas, like #gendertraitors, but it seems to me that if something doesn't reward egos than it's worthless.
