Eind 2025 werd de Nederlandse overheid opgeschrikt door de overnames van twee belangrijke ICT-dienstverleners door Amerikaanse bedrijven. Zo is Solvinity overgenomen door Kyndryl (onder voorbehoud van goedkeuring door de ACM) en werd Zivver ingelijfd door Kiteworks. In beide gevallen werden deze partijen veelvuldig gecontracteerd door Nederlandse (semi)publieke organisaties. Juist vanwege hun Nederlandse oorsprong. Beschermd eigenaarschap als selectiecriterium had deze situatie mogelijk kunnen voorkomen.

Wow. They totally glossed over the actual root cause of this story, which is about assisted living facilities owned by #privatequity firms that refuse to do the basic tasks an “assisted living facility” needs, by definition, to do: care for and literally assist their residents.
