Almost 50 years ago, Sandy Stauffer started a 50 cow dairy farm in New York State. Today, the Stauffer family has a 7,000 head herd and is a major player in the regional dairy industry. The Stauffers have a biogas facility on their farm that turns manure into renewable natural gas, and pay close attention to the needs of their 90 employees.
