Dieser #ESC war komisch.
Viel weniger Farbe (viele Bühnenbilder waren weiß, das Siegerlied komplett in Graustufen), kaum queer gelesene Akteure. "United By Music" wurde wohl aus Pflichtgefühl nur kurz am Anfang eingeblendet. Musik, die größtenteils wie Einheitsbrei wirkte.
Und zwischendrin Nemo, platziert wie ein Störobjekt, mir einer auf's Minimum geschrumpften Performance von "The Code", als ob man das am liebsten ganz weglassen möchte.
Was war das los?

A Utah bill originally aimed at banning pride flags in schools and on government property was amended hours after the GOP sponsor said the legislation would let schools display Nazi and Confederate flags.
California students walk out en masse in protest of school board’s anti-LGBTQ+ policies. The school board's latest attack was to ban Pride flags, which one parent said represented "the devil."
