Today we attended a moving ceremony to remember the 1994 genocide in #Rwanda. We commend Rwanda and its people for the determination to stand up from the ashes, rebuild the country & reconcile.

We need to do better in BC. Antisemitism is rampant in schools and Holocaust education, in my opinion, isn’t enough. #bced needs to look at the curriculum and start making this mandatory. It shouldn’t be up to teachers to try and find ways to fit it in.
