Sarah Eisenhower#wiring project on the #sailboat . The prior owner(s) had wires hanging willy-nilly; we've taken it all out and are in the process of placing PVC pipe to run the wire through so it isn't dangling all over the place.
Partner has been hard at work sanding and polishing the boat. I've chipped in a bit, but I've been busy doing parental stuff in the meantime. Plus, he has all this knowledge and experience I just don't have. It's been nice to turn off the outside world and get work done on the boat. The husband moved it from the side yard to the driveway today, to begin the process of putting it up on boat stands and getting the trailer out from under it so we can get going on sanding and refinishing the bottom paint.
Tonight I applied a cleaner and then a brightener to all the teak we've removed from the boat. It all looks great so far! Next up, varnish (ext) and oil (int).
